Fantastic news! On Friday night, we received the attached committee substitute for HB 11 (CSHB 11) with NO recommendations for shortening the FIIE timelines from Chairman Representative Four Price's office. "The House Committee on Public Health has posted the bill for () Tuesday, April 4th at which time Chairman Price will present the Committee Substitute. ...Also, I kindly ask that you inform your membership that there will (be) no changes in the current times set forth in the Education Code and this is reflected in the CSHB 11." Chairman Price is requesting our support for CSHB 11 that is focused on the "mental health of public school students".
TEDA members are advised that there is no longer a need to call Representative Four Price's office regarding HB 11.
Thank you for your dedication and support. You are making a difference!
